TXT（TOMORROW X TOGETHER，Korean：투모로우바이투게더) is a Korean boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment and was debuted on March 4, 2019.
The group consists of five members: YEONJUN, SOOBIN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, HUENINGKAI, and SOOBIN as the leader.
The group name writes as TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER), and read as “TOMORROW by TOGETHER (Korean: 투모로우바이투게더)”. The group name has the meaning of “you and I are different, meet for the same dream, join together to create tomorrow.”
The group name was named after a “PLUS X”, a South Korean creative agency company that has received attention in the past for the new brand identification design project of the BTS, and is also responsible for brand identity design.
On November 27, 2018, it was reported that Big Hit had plans to debut a five-member boy group at the beginning of 2019, being the first group to debut in six years, since BTS’ debut in 2013. TXT being the first group to debut from BigHit Entertainment in six years after BTS, “TXT” and “YEONJUN” were trending on No. 1 and No. 2 on Twitter’s global trend after they were announced.
On March 4, 2019, TXT released their first mini-album, “The Dream Chapter: Star” together with Mnet’s debut commemorative Special program, TOMORROW X TOGETHER Debut Celebration Show.
On March 5, TXT held their debut showcase, “TOMORROW X TOGETHER DEBUT SHOWCASE ‘STAR'”, at YES 24 Live Hall.
Following their release, their debut mini-album topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in over 44 territories. The music video for “Crown” also marked 15.5 million views in the first 24 hours, ranking second place on the list of K-pop’ music videos with the highest number of views in their debut, second only to ITZY’s “Dalla Dalla”, which marked 17.1 million.
